TRANSPORTATION

Every Parkland student is assigned a bus that will pick them up and drop them off near their home each school day.  If your transportation needs differ from this plan, please send an email to Mrs. Heater at heaterc@parklandsd.net by Thursday, August 1st.  This pertains to students who:

  • Attend daycare before and/or after school
  • Attend Y-Care at Ironton
  • Get transported to and/or from a location (family member/sitter) other than their home, but is still in the Ironton sending area
  • Are transported to and/or from school by a parent or family member

(Parent Drop-off:  8:35 – 8:50 AM; Parent Pick-up:  3:25 PM).  If your child is parent pick-up at the end of the day, please include a list of people who should be included on the parent pick-up list.

Please Note:  We require a parent pick-up notification at the start of each school year, even if your child was parent pick-up last year, so we can assure our list is accurate.  If your child will be parent pick-up every day or the same days each week, please send an email to Mrs. Heater at heaterc@parklandsd.net ASAP.

HOME ACCESS CENTER

Around mid-August, the district will send an email communication to all parents regarding Home Access Center (HAC) logins and passwords.  In HAC, parents can view their child(ren)’s bus and teacher information.
