IRONTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL YEARBOOK SALE

Cost:  $25.00

Order Deadline:  April 30, 2026

Order online or if you prefer to pay by cash or check, order forms were sent home with students. 

Please Note:  All yearbooks will be shipped directly to school and distributed to students at the end of the school year.

ATTENTION 5^TH GRADE PARENTS:  The Ironton Elementary PTO will purchase a yearbook for all 5^th grade students as their farewell gift.

If you have a child who is turning 5 years old prior to September 1, 2026, it’s time to register for kindergarten.  

Similarly, if you have a child who is enrolled in a private kindergarten program who you are planning to enroll for the first time in Parkland Schools for first grade, we invite you to register now.  Those entering first grade must be a minimum of five (5) years and seven (7) months of age by September 1, 2026.  Students must be of appropriate chronological age for school registration.

Please call the school office at 610-351-5810 to begin the registration process.

St. Luke's Youth Run - Saturday, April 25th!

This is a FREE event sponsored by St. Luke’s. Last year Ironton won $750 for 1st place with the most student registrants!!

Registration is OPEN! Don’t forget to click “Parkland - Ironton Elementary” as your school!

Cold Weather Advisory

The weather is getting colder and we ask that you please dress your children appropriately for the cold weather - including jackets, scarves, hats and gloves.  Students will go outside for recess when the feels-like temperature is above 20 degrees.

 

Parkland Reads Together 2026 Book Reveal

All Ironton Kindergarten through 5^th grade students are invited to the Parkland Reads Together book reveal at Ironton Elementary on Wednesday, February 25^th  at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  See the invitation for more information.  Be sure to RSVP for this event by filling out the bottom half of the invitation sent home with your child.

FREE FRENCH ACTIVITY FAIR for 4th and 5th graders is at PHS on Saturday, February 21^st  (rescheduled from Jan. 24^th) when French Honor Society students will host fun activities related to French culture in the Parkland High School Cafeteria from 10 AM - 12 Noon. Sign up here by February 12^th.

Canvas & Cookies Family Paint Night

The Ironton PTO invites our students to join us for a sweet-filled evening creating one-of-a-kind “Star Stallion” artwork led by Beautiful Mess Art Studio.

Event Date/Location/Time: February 20^th (Inclement weather date: Friday, February 27^th) in the Ironton Cafeteria.  Doors open at 6pm and painting starts at 6:20pm.

Registration Opens: Sunday, February 1^st at 6pm. This is a pilot event and will be open to the first 60 registrants. $10 per painter.
